In Dublin’s fair city

So you want to get out and try something new this weekend; but your pockets are feeling a bit light? It’s all well-and-good telling you about how great this and that in the city is; but what’s the point if you can’t afford to enjoy them either?

For the last couple of months, my amazing team at Picture This! Dublin have been scheming up ways to encourage you (yes you!) to get out, do more, try more, and get involved. What better way to do it than by getting free stuff eh?

What is Picture this! Dublin?

Chances are, you’ve heard of us, and chances are, you think we take pictures (duh). Picture This! is a fast-growing collective of creative people; who want to bring out the best that Dublin has to offer. We are talkers. We are do-ers. We are optimistic, and we are coffee drinkers. We aim to show you that local is definitely better. We are the Middle-men; we introduce local businesses to you so you can enjoy what they have to offer. So remember next lunch time; Starbucks don’t need your money, Dublin does!

Loyal Dublin

We decided that we want to give something back to you lot- just a lil’ something for being nice. At our launch party on August 14^th, each guest was given a small brown envelope. Inside each little envelope was the brand new and shiny Picture This loyalty card. We know you lot had loyalty before we had cards, but now you get something back for enjoying your city!

How does it work?

The loyalty card is designed (by the brains of the operation- Timi and JR) to encourage you to do something different, go somewhere different or try something new- with the main purpose being to connect you with the best local business that Dublin has to offer, and in return, receiving a lovely discount.

We have negotiated and worked with tons of Business’s around the city that will offer you a discount whenever you show your new-shiny bright-dazzlingly-sparkly new loyalty card. For example, Staple Foods will offer you a 15% discount just for being mates with us! Other business include 9 Crow Street, SiopaElla and Diep to name a few, but the full list of all cooperating businesses will be on the Picture This! website.

Free stuff you say?

Yep! For every four coffee shops you visit, your fifth coffee is free. The catch is, it has to be a completely new place that you’ve never been before. Seems fair, right? We want you to go down new streets, discover the new places to be, and just have fun around your city. Who doesn’t like free?

How do I get one?

Unfortunately, our loyalty cards are not yet available to the public- we’re having a test run to make sure everything goes smoothly before it goes live. Keep an eye on the Picture This! website and Facebook page for more info and updates, and remember, #EnjoyYourCity.
